Does anyone here use Linux as their main dev environment for pservers? I just started and most of the tools seem to be windows only, I've tried running them through wine with little success (although with tinkering I could possibly get them to work). Just wondering if it's worth the hassle or should I spin up a windows vm?

Development/modding is a lot easier on windows, hosting you can do without issues on Linux

slight issue with that is that if u develop only on windows and u intend to run on linux there is possibility that u will encounter few compiler errors

Do you run the server on Linux, do all development in a windows vm and move over? What does your workflow look like?

We push code to a git repo, git sends a webhook to Jenkins that runs a build and deployment job
