That was a silly question, that was shown to be used. If you're using MariaDB, you can't compile the server with mysql libraries (`libmysqlclient-dev` etc) or that happens.

Well, also obviously 10.3 is used which isn't supported but aside from that, the server was compiled with a version different than what it's trying to connect to which is why I'm asking.
