is there a spell for the weapon skill you're trying to add? I know you can give someone herbalism but if you don't give them Journeyman Herbalism (the spell) they can't actually pick anything. maybe something similar?

Good question. I don't believe so, but I'll take a look! Still super new to all of this so there's a good chance it is something simple.

I was able to do both .learn and .setskill for Two-Handed Swords on my Shaman and both had the same effect. I can use the swords now, but there's no display in the character menu and they do not skill up. So - getting closer!

we're really out of my realm of knowledge now, but other things i can think of is hard-coded restrictions on what a class can use on the server, or stuff on the client that is either not showing it or preventing it from working. Idunnoman, I done my best.
