If you think they're a complete replacements for players and you want to use them for every day play, you should look elsewhere *for now*. They're not close to being marked as *playable* or *ready for production*. If you want to help with testing and/or development then you should continue.

What they are for? Emulate players, a replacement for players in a way. They are, however, not there yet because an idea doesn't bloom into a functional idea until it has gone through a lot of development.

I don't know what 11knpcbots is but I know npcbots (or trinity-bots) exist for azerothcore. They are different from playerbots though as they are creatures designed to work like players.
