Port scanner, ddos (unlikely), random malformed packets (I've had this happen for me but it's rare)

I say that ddos is unlikely because if it was a ddos you would've noticed

are there any known issue concerning the ports for AC? i set up a server and cant connect to it even tho port forwarding is set and working (i have a bunch of different servers running here) but it doesnt seem to work for AC, ports are 3724 and 8085, the login server generally speaking works though it is having heavy timeouts (connection itself is good, other servers running 20ish ping without packet loss), connecting to the gameserver will result in a timeout disco

That sounds like an issue on your end

I don't know what the issue could be but I know it's not an issue specific to AzerothCore or the ports it uses. I mean, 3724 is what is (or was) used by WoW because in order to use another port you have to actually add it to realmlist.wtf

Not strange at all. You're one more user with wrong local network or firewall settings. Best of luck and feel free to keep asking.

there is no issue on local network, also firewall is set fine, like i said i got multiple servers (rust, ts3, csgo, factorioand others) running here and also the ports are in fact open (tested it with a small tcpip server / client script), network settings are as untouched for AC, thats why im asking if theres some known issues since it should work at this point
