If you did something to cause the buff to not be used anymore, a spell id which is set in worldserver.conf by the way, you should retrace your steps to find what the hell you did

before you gave my a magic ".instance unbind all" i managed to break alot

clear the character_instance and instance_reset tables
set Rate.InstanceResetTime = 0.1 (funnest part) and looks it is all

Lua doesn't have all of the capabilities of C++ in AzerothCore, but if it is more familiar for you and can do what you need, it shouldn't have any major downsides. C++ is more robust and is recommended if you'd like to share your changes as formal modules.
