Greetings! I've been following a guide by "Game Master" on youtube (their beginner guide to compile Azerothcore). Hoping somebody here can get me through the final step:

So I made it all the way to the end. Authserver is running fine, Worldserver will not run. Trying to figure out if I missed something currently. I used the extractors that came with Azerothcore (eg, map_extractor.exe). I got all of the compiled files out of it, so moving in maps, mmaps, etc into my compiled folder seems to have worked fine and everything is apparently showing up SQLyog.

Any ideas what could be preventing worldserver from running successfully?

Look at the log files or run it from a cmd to see the error before it closes

Good call, will try to figure out how to do that and report back. You’re right that it’s closing almost immediately after being run

Bottom of the error reads:

Loading World Information...
> RealmID: 1
> Version DB world: ACDB 335.10-dev
Will clear `logs` table of entries older than 1209600 seconds every 10 minutes.
Using DataDir ./
WORLD: VMap support included. LineOfSight:true, getHeight:true, indoorCheck:true PetLOS:true
Map file './maps/0004331.map': does not exist!

But I thought the map extractor got everything?

Double check your directories, has to be in `./maps` as the error says
