Pretty sure that's core for the duration and probably DBC if it triggers GCD. If it's in the db, it's in `item_template`

It's either core or dbc. I would guess dbcs, frankly.

So DBC's are those weird files which contains tabular data? Do they have anything in common with these tables in the database wich have a _dbc suffix?
