That's not how it works. Authentication happens in the authserver and when you're allowed in you get transfered to the worldserver. Getting the realm selection screen over and over means it can't connect you to the worldserver no matter if the credentials are correct or not.

If you use a port other than 3724 for the authserver, you just add the port to the realmlist.wtf file. For instance, like this: `set realmlist 127.0.0.1:9292` if you were to use port 9292. That's it.
