Well, if there weren't enough players for the battleground those messages wouldn't appear. Also, bots are grabbed from those not spawned in the world and those not wandering.

Yes, they can. I enjoy being able to do AV when I feel like it

oh but they cant be spawned in, i went and spawned em all in day 1. ill just nuke all the ones in stormwind

They can only do WSG, AB and AV so far though, just so you know.
