Both auth (3724) and world (8085) ports are NAT forwarded from the WAN interface to the ubuntu server's LAN IP

what would that change? I can connect to the world server fine... just anyone outside the local network can't.

it will allowed the port to be accessed outside... before you do that run this 2 command "sudo ufw default deny incoming
sudo ufw default allow outgoing"
