When I want to clear AH out I run these 2 queries, the first one solo to make sure it completes successfully before doing the second one.
```sql
DELETE FROM `item_instance` WHERE `guid` IN (SELECT `itemguid` FROM `auctionhouse`);
DELETE FROM `auctionhouse`;
```
I have had no issues doing it this way when I need to but I'm not willing to give you a guarantee that it won't touch anything else

It's possible but google is the best way to figure out how to handle mysql. I never needed a portable setup so I'm not bothering to learn how to make one.

I stopped my server, run both queries seperetly and started my server again, now there are only 2000 items in the ah, a lot less test items, but still a very few low level items

It takes a while for it to fill AH up. Depending on how many items you set it to add and how many you told it to add at a time.
