Check the update time of the server during periods of lag. Validate that your clients don't have packet loss to your server. Try connecting from a different machine altogether to see if it's better

@DoctorBong I am having to run it through a tunnel service like play.it.gg / NGrok because my ISP has me behind a NAT and I am too cheap to spring for the $250 business plan, but the round trip is avg 23ms

If you're seeing lag it's almost certainly a server misconfiguration/issue or packet loss
