We use a patched exe so we don't need to pack any files, so we just symlink it to the client repo

im moving them manually im not rly sure how i would achieve working symlink to VM

if you have your client files in a repo, you just clone that repo to the workstation, then symlink to the client directory

I prefer to use git at least, but we use it in many different automation steps anyway, from client to server distribution and client generation
