Just so I'm clear....which dependencies are we talking about that upgrading could wipe the server and what would require me to clean the cache in Cmake vs VS which doesn't wipe anything? -sincerely, another ignorant Build user

the dbc files are extracted from the client, and contains all the information the client needs to function
