General question about AC. I couldn't find it browsing the reported bugs on Github but the heads devs are aware of the fact that there's some issue with mobs interrupting their casting semi-randomly, right? Not 'randomly' per-se, but when they 'decide' to take another action, based on either random prompts from their AI or scripted prompts (like: when <25% hp, start casting heal) . Pretty sure they're supposed to finish their current casts before taking on new instructions, right?

was hoping there would be a large-scale solution, since i've noticed it on mobs ranging from the level 20 naga on zoram'gar strand in ashenvale to the nether rays in netherstorm

SmartAI interrupts are handled through CastFlags in action type 11 (SMART_ACTION_CAST)

In the vast majority of cases it shouldn't be the case. I believe this is, in most cases, a legacy flag. A long time ago if the cast wasn't interrupted, it wouldn't fire

I believe what we need is to spend some time searching for any interrupts that ARE intended, and if so, exclude them from having their flag removed.

exactly. in blizz, afaik, once a mob starts casting a spell, unless interrupted, he finishes it
