Their loot is personal, "phased", and everyone gets their separate loot pool. That's not how 3.3.5 works though.

with flex raiding? It is how it works, they changed it over time but when you do flex raiding with master looter, it scales the loot drops to how many you have

You most likely have to rewrite a large chunk of the loot system to support it. I don't know for sure how much though since I have never bothered to look into it because.. well simply because I don't care.

I farm raids a lot and it's typically set to personal loot because it makes more sense than having to fight over items.
