I think if you want to do it directly, without an aura, you'd have to modify the client, and that's something you typically want to avoid if possible.

Isn't it much simpler to increase/decrease the HP of all mobs instead?

Mob hp could work except for some cases, like drains based on dmg done, or pvp

That's entirely possible, yes. Auras are stored in the spell_dbc

so you'd have to browse for it there. I haven't found a more efficient way of browsing them, and the issue is top of my list, so if you get an answer for that pls get back to me

You mean to find which auras could do that? I've been using this link https://www.azerothcore.org/wiki/spell-aura-reference (searched for Damage Done then made a search for this term in Stoneharry's tool

thinking about copy pasting one of the results and create that specific damage done aura, then paste into characters as passive

<@228003132569812993> please @ me when you reply mate, so i can see that you're talking to me.

The issue with that list is that it's **wildly** incomplete. For example, if you want to make a character invisible, you'd need to give it the aura number 16380.

And I'm not sure where to browse for that except in the spell_dbc, but then the only way to browse that in SQL is to go off the comments, which are... not super accurate at all.

like if you didn't know the aura for invisibility is 16380, you'd have to filter for 'invisibility' in the spell_dbc.. which would net ~20 results. Some are part of the mage spells, some are different effects.. it's not straight forward at all
