Really? I may just go that route, the steps for installation seemed confusing to me. Am I creating a docker container in order to have it do the compiling of ts to lua?

Okay, so I can have nodejs just installed natively than it’ll hand the compiling of TS, is that turning them into lua like compiling or is it a runtime reading the ts files like the lua engine?

What I usually do is create an npm project, do `npm i -D typescript typescript-to-lua` + `npm i @azerothcore/eluna-ts-lib` and go from there

It's transpiles TypeScript to Lua, yes

Okay, do I need to make any output location for the eluna scripts, or I can just write ts files directly into the Eluna scripts folder?

You can have your project in the eluna scripts folder but you'll get errors when reloading eluna because of duplicate files that are shipped in the npm packages. That's no big deal but it can be quite annoying

Hmm; would it work if I had a sub folder for the ts files than they get generated to the actual upper scripts folder?
