so i've tried this with mod-ah-bot, mod-autobalance, and mod-learn-spells, all to no avail

what makes you think they're not loading? If the dist files are created, that indicates they're included.

A couple of things: 1. there's no console log of the ah-bot being loaded which, from searching this server, there should be a message detailing the items being loaded into the auction house; 2. actually using the auction house, i can see it's empty; 3. no console log of autobalance being loaded by worldserver either (though, admittedly, i don't know if there is supposed to be a message output)
