u also need to keep in mind that cmake without clean may not always help and then if u want ppl to always clean make and rerun cmake now u introduced 1 hour long compile time on each update for some amount of ppl

yes it will it will populate the build file with the correct file changes, flag files for recompilation, and that recompiles the code object needed for the final binary
