I've read some people have an addon like VIP Mall where you can use an NPC to gear by level, class etc... using additem you have to know exactly what you need by item number.

u can use atlas loot and search for items

obviously not by IDs but i just open atlas loot and in 1 min i got everything i want

I just use AoWoW and select whatever armor type and slot or weapon I want to get the full list of items and get the IDs that way.
