Technically it's not an addon, it's wav files that you add to the client to do the exorcism of that horrible sound.

Apparently AzerothCore did the same to MariaDB. I can't use it anymore. I spent 2 minutes waiting for the server to load Creature Data before giving up and starting up a MySQL server specifically for AzerothCore and just accept the fate.

Maybe you should try a different version if you really want to stick with Maria DB. The tests in the PR said, it would be like 10% slower, not 500%.

MySql is definitely superior in terms of loading times all over though.
