Of course! I learned a whole bunch getting my server going. Was a great learning experience. I was just lucky and already had some networking experience.

Regarding the two IP fields, if you were think of the first one as your house. It's basically where other people would say "Hey how do I connect to your house?" and you give them that IP address. But you'd also then have to configure your router to point people to the server. So something you'd have to figure out another time.
