My binaries l/worldserver.exe are actually in the Build folder and not theAzerothCore folder…is that wrong? Or I guess it wouldn’t matter if I move the modules there? So should my modules also be in the build folder or just the configs?

Oh I think it put the configs in there already. They’re in both places.

It is fine to have your binaries in the Build folder. You will just need to ensure that you have a configs directory there, with a modules folder inside and the module configs copied there. The module source code should stay in the appropriate directory with your AzerothCore source.

Ah sorry I think I got confused. The config file in that folder where the binaries are are also already set properly. So it’s in Build/Bin/RelAithDebInfo/configs/modules/challenge_modes.conf.dist. I’ll rename it to .conf though I assume that’s not the issue

It shouldn't be the issue, but it will be good to help track in the future.

So you should have challenge_modes.conf, and no challenge_modes.conf.dist, and ChallengeModes.Enable = 1 should be set within that file.

Random question…when I load up in game it says This server is running AutoBalance module. But doesn’t list the other modules I’m running. Should that list every module there? I have other modules not showing in that list that do seem to be functioning so I wouldn’t necessarily think so but wanted to check as a troubleshooting step

I think most modules do not announce themselves. That is a feature of the AutoBalance module, so there is no need to worry.
