Hey all…just installed AzerothCore the classic way (as I found out last night that the recompiled versions couldn’t use modules). Surprisingly didn’t run into any issues and everything seems good so far. I did have a couple questions though:
1. How can I tell what expansion(a) are included? Is it through wotlk by default?
2. For a solo experience..would I typically need solocraft, auto balance and NPCBots or PlayerBots? Seems NPCBots is a bit more stable…or would I potentially not need auto balance for dungeons if using bots? Any other module recommendations appreciated as well..trying to figure out a good base setup before really getting started

1. AzerothCore is a Wrath of the Lich King based emulator, however you can restrict features on the account to lower expansions based on expansion level on account creation.
2. AutoBalance is used to scale dungeons to be soloable, if you are a full group (5 members) then I think the dungeon scales back to vanilla. The module just allows variable length dungeon difficulty based on member size.

NPCBots is different than other modules and requires being build with a specific fork of AzerothCore. The maintainer does well at keep it up to date with upstream, so there is not notable difference other than working with the bots. Other modules are compatible and instructions should be the same, though for issues with NPCBots you will want to report to that module instead of AzerothCore master.
