I had to do something similar to this. I think you type a . command for the specific faction. THere might be a better solution though

Literally everything is possible, if you put enough effort into it. Changing factions isn't too hard.

You want to save any and all modifications that you do in a SQL file and keep it in the custom folder. The core will automatically re-aplly it.
