I've used this No-IP service to make it so that I can just change my IP there and my server IP is actually named

If you do want to limit the access to the emulator that way their IP shouldn't change often should it?

creature tempalte and the npc_vendor ones dont need a patch, its specificaly for new entrys in the extended cost table

I don't know how it works across the globe but typically the IP doesn't change unless the network is down for a period of time.

so if your using existing extended costs, or just uing gold with no extendedc osts your good
