Hi all, porting over recently from a repack as I heard it's best to avoid those and finally worked out how to recompile AzerothCore properly, having some problems getting characters ported in with the pdump load command? It keeps saying ```Dump file have broken data!``` but as far as I knew it's the same version and client? Any idea on how to fix? Are pdump write files meant to have a file type?

There’s no guarantee that it’s the same version compiled

That error shows when the database structure dumped by the file is not the same as your server

That's likely the issue due to idiot me using a repack first, is there any way to 'force' it or salvage the files at all somehow?

I'd guess you're better of re-creating your character with gm commands.

You can probably salvage a lot but it'll be manually, yeah

I've got the data in the dump files but have no idea of a quick way to import all that over if the files are broken, will just have to give them some gold as a sorry haha, luckily max level was me at only 25 so not the end of the world... of warcraft

Exactly, more just like 10 players all at around 20 will be annoyed but I can make it up to them through gm commands I hope
