It was actually working previous to this. He was using it the other day. Granted, I have rebuilt and played around since then, but the networking and DNS side hasn't changed.

u could test it even on same pc and no u are not supposed to change local address only address

I can't test it on the same PC due to how networking works. I'm "doctoring" my DNS so that my domain for this comes back with an internal IP.

just bcs u got 1 piece of hardware doesnt mean u cant have multiple network connections and connect them together

But it is working for me fine. I can login, get onto the realm, and login to a character.
He's getting the correct address *and* can authenticate, but the realm list just doesn't respond. That's why I asked if there is anything client-side about caching realm list info.
