Specifically I'm trying to understand importing the SQL manually to the right database - does that mean copy/paste? Do I open up existing tables and put the SQL tables from the module into those?

most of maintained modules will run DB updates automatically and those which dont u need (as it says) run them manually either in terminal or with some sql gui

I see, so I would run these prior to cmake then, into an empty database of auth/world/characters accordingly?

sometimes it would work but if its editing data then running it before there are any data is obviously wrong
