The console presents `AC> `, which I'm seeing being repeated constantly in `journalctl`. Figured I'd just nip that in the backside now.

u could also use screen that way u can chose to open it if u want to see it or run some command

True. Should be OK for now. Very simple use case, although I will need to run it manually to add an account for my brother.

On another note: I've got port forwarding working fine from the Internet, but I cannot connect from my local PC on the LAN... I remember this being a problem last time and I can't remember how I solvedit.

I have to work out how my Mikrotik is seeing my connection to, essentially itself (because I'm connecting to my own public IP.)
