I fail to see the point in using autobalance if you're using bots. The bots are there to replace players and the content doesn't need a nerf because they're there.

For Wotlk yeah it's not very necessary, when you have 10man difficulty. But vanilla raids can get annoying when you need to gear and manage 39 bots.

But the same is true for a regular group of players too, they all need equipment. Of course it's not all managed by one person.
