I ended up adding https://github.com/trickerer/AzerothCore...th-NPCBots as a remote repo to my azerothcore fork so I can easily merge into it but before that I downloaded the repo that I just linked and copied files changed by that repo into azerothcore. I did help to have github dekstop though to easily see changes to make sure the only changed code was npcbots and nothing else.
