but keep in mind that AC does not do releases so when u update there can be bugs

To compare full hash which is most of the time safer, you assign `git rev-parse origin/master` to a variable as the local commit and `git ls-remote https://github.com/azerothcore/azerothcore-wotlk.git master | awk '{ print $1 }'` as the remote commit and then compare the two and if they differ there's an update

Regardless, weekly updates even if there would be no actual changes would cause a restart which is always a good idea.

That's not how releases should be done perhaps, but the institution of releases doesn't suddenly remove the possibility of those things
