i ran into compile issues today on 22 LTS. i think it was g++ related. if you get the message that clang can't compile a simple test program or whatever the error message is, try installing g++-12. ```sudo apt install g++-12```

g++ is enough, specifying the version is not required

i just ran into the problem as written in the instructions but ran into compile issues. installing g++ -12 specifically fixed the issue. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That doesn't change the fact that you don't have to specify the version but g++ should always be installed with clang.
