also it is interesting to see that I have a L80 char and running `learn all my talents` the first time will get me to 78 and if I run it again it will bring it to 81. Not sure if this is a bug or by design.

currently I have everything running from docker. Not sure if it is the best way but somehow it works easier for me, versus trying to compile which I am having issues

Is it easier to compile and run using Ubuntu or Windows? I am comfortable with both.

In theory Ubuntu I'd say, but my Ubuntu install had a lot of missing requisites for some reason

technically both of those things are opinionated....for me linux and "true" installation from scratch is the only option

Linux is technically easier since you install the packages by use of a simple command and it doesn't require you to add stupid stuff to the environment variables. Plug-and-play, basically. Windows works fine too but takes longer to set up and requires more steps.
