so generally in wow when u pull big enough group of mobs and starts dealing massive aoe it lags ur game....this i would assume is client issue but to extend this example in diablo 3 on higher difficulties there is issue where mobs got so much hp and u are dealing so much dmg that server is no longer catching that and latency spikes to thousands

That's a matter of draw calls and only client-side. It chews your CPU.
