it's recommended to git clone your modules, but **if** you download them as zip, remove -master from the folder name

I have been doing exactly that as I saw some talk of it before, as I have just been downloading as zip, extracting, removing the -master at the end

Appreciate the guidance on this. Been playing the various repacks for awhile, so now I am aiming to finally start messing around with more than just opening up notepad++ and editing numbers in configs lol

there are examples of pretty much most stuff everywhere in the core and modules, just gotta replicate code and edit out things to suit your needs
