hello dear people! i am looking for a reference item that if you right click it, it spawns an npc like a pet - like it was before wotlk with pets // any item like that still existing in wotlk dbc? I am planning on spawning an npc as a "pet" to act as a banker

All pets work the same way. It's just the spell id assigned to the item template that tells you that you learn it. It's the same as with mounts. You can just assign the spell id of the pet as the spellid1 instead of spellid2 and it'll no longer teach you the pet and instead spawn it. Very simple.
