I know lots of trinkets and probably rings have an on use effect, but not sure about any equip effects with a explicit duration

It's also possible that the same root cause could be making other Equip: effects not work and we just don't know about them

I'm not all *too* familiar with spell effects with relation to gear, but I know that procs have all sorts of issues that are aimed to be fixed by that
