As long as the server could actually use them, then I say do whatever. Something like the character stuff probably has DBCs only the client really has a use for, so those don't make much sense to be required for the core

Yeah. There are a few we exteact from the client that is unused if i recall. Like left over old good idea fairies from previous expansions

As long as it's still convenient I don't care either way. Being able to edit stuff with little to no effort is important imo.

Just like I said with the items, if they were completely removed from the DB and instead loaded from dbc only I'd rage out.
