actually let me correct that, neither npcbots or playerbots can be used as a module, npcbots however can be patched in to your existing repo where playerbots has some core changes with no patch, so you would need to use his branch

I'm sure it'll be merged when it's ready for it but I think the idea of playerbots versus npcbots makes playerbots stand out in a different way since it allows you to make your world feel alive and you can face them in pvp etc. However that is a distant dream, like you not meant as a criticism, but plenty of people are looking forward to it.

agree, although in the best of both worlds, npcbots adopts the ability to populate and use alts and/or playerbots adopts npcbots combat logic as an option for those who don't want to do so much micro

well that is the basic design of playerbots but the AI in npcbots imo seems a bit easier for the avg player

although at times you do want to kill a healer or a mage because they just love pulling everything when dpsing at range lol

so if you turn, and unless you have positioned them where you want them, they will all turn and range from the new direction, which normally leads to another pat
