if you use the SendChunkedPayload you can break your lua into chunks which gets loaded into a buffer on the client before you execute it

The patch notes are pretty simplified. The readme for 1.9 looks like this but of course the information shown at the selection screen will explain it a tiny bit more and blizzlike-ish but it's still not that much that has to be shown.
