I might run this in AWS Sydney. I can make an AMI then, bake everything in, easily back it up... etc.

For the record, if you restart that server even semi-often, you may want to investigate Michael's solution

CMake doesn't compile the core on Windows though, it just sets up my Visual Studio project?

Except on Windows, with CMake, you're using VS for the compilation, so instead of compiling it's generating an VS project you open and then compile.

With `make`, it's setting everything up (Configure), generating what it needs to operate (Generate), and jumping to the compilation stage.
