Hmm. So it's not a first-class AzerothCore module. It's a `.patch`, which means it patches a binary with its own opt code. You could try following the same instructions in the `README` and see if it works. Just remember to use the `sql\*` files, in order, to ensure you're updating the database with the needed changes.

Have a look at my Acore_ExchangeNpc repo. The Construct NPC seems to do what you're looking for.

Looks like the Lua API is slightly different. `HasItem` isn't a function in the AC C++ codebase, for example. And `RemoveItem` requires bag (slot) information.
