Hi guys, i've finally compiled my own server, if i want to change something in the code, like let's say add a custom race. How do i then recompile the server so that the changes are applied but i don't lose my other changes in like database and stuff

You want to create a branch in your own fork and let GitHub handle the updates, as long as there are no merge conflicts.

If your custom code has .CPP changes, the preferred approach is to make a module.

If your customization is only SQL, you can just place all queries in the 'custom' folder of your AC source
