the only custom thing that I have is a vanilla login and loading screen screen .mpq file but I don't think that should be a problem. Also my config settings should be within the recommended settings. I'll try to update my core and recompile I guess, thank you for checking it out by the way!

No, those should only be client-side so it wouldn't cause this issue. Let me know if it is still not work properly after an update and we can more investigate.

Type .list aura on yourself and check if there’s anything odd
Type .npc info on the totem and let us know what it says
