I know retail wow has an api, but I don't know if classic has one that lets you grab the equipment of a character.

and even then its not so simple as just giving ppl items but also echants gems etc

i can think of grabbing the item ids via an addon, but not sure if the addon API gives the actual item id

with a bit of copy/paste and some send mail commands, one could solve the automation that way.
