More and more modules are handled automatically nowadays and custom sql scripts can be placed in the custom sql folder and the worldserver will run them itself.

If you put .sql files inside of `data/sql/custom/db_world`, they will be imported to the world database when worlserver starts. The same can be done for auth and characters, of course.
